Build thoughtfully. Test the assumptions.
These operating terms explain the intended use of BotSims and the responsibilities that come with working with simplified robot models and optional third-party AI services.

Purpose and scope
BotSims is an engineering exploration and learning application for supported robot layouts, logical connections, controller code and simulation models. Access depends on feature availability and supported models. No purchase, service-level commitment or response-time guarantee is established by this page.
The application is provided in its current state. Features, component catalogues, provider APIs and model behavior can change. Review the documentation for the workflow and the limits of individual features.
Accounts and administrator access
Google sign-in creates a free BotSims profile and verifies your identity. Keep your Google account secure. BotSims does not store your Google password. Sign out on shared devices and export local projects before clearing browser data.
Administrator access is verified on the server. Members cannot change their role or subscription through profile settings. Administrators can review support submissions, update their status and view membership records for site operations.
Support submissions are stored in the application database with the sender's verified identity. Do not submit credentials, confidential files or unnecessary personal information. Receipt means the record was saved; it does not promise an email notification, a reply or a response time.
Plan and subscription fields are foundations for future features. No payment, recurring billing or paid entitlement is currently offered by this interface.
Simulation is evidence about a model
A successful run, a green connection check or an attractive 3D rendering does not certify a physical robot. Generic dimensions, electrical models and kinematic previews have explicit assumptions and incomplete coverage. The application does not replace manufacturer data, independent calculations, measured validation or the engineering review appropriate to your hardware.
Do not rely on BotSims alone to establish structural strength, electrical protection, firmware compatibility, functional safety, medical suitability, human contact safety, vehicle safety or regulatory compliance. Read accuracy and physical limits before using a result in a real project.
Your projects and backups
You are responsible for the material you enter, import, execute or share and for having permission to use it. Keep confidential information and credentials out of ordinary project fields. You choose whether to export files or send content to an optional AI service.
Local browser storage is working storage, not a durable backup service. Browser cleanup, storage limits, private browsing, device loss and application changes can affect it. Export important projects and reports. This page does not transfer ownership of your project content or grant permission to publish another person's confidential designs.
Code and acceptable use
Use the workbench and its bounded guest runtime for robot-controller experiments within the supported API. Do not attempt to bypass execution limits, probe other users' data, misuse hosting or provider credentials, disrupt the service or submit content you are not entitled to use.
Imported projects and example programs should be reviewed before execution. A bounded runtime reduces specific risks; it is not a universal security certification or permission to run unreviewed code outside this application.
Optional AI providers
You supply and control your own provider account and API key when using cloud AI. Your provider's terms, billing, rate limits and retention rules apply. Model discovery does not promise availability, capability, correctness, price or entitlement. Cloud requests, including cancelled or failed attempts, can incur provider charges.
BotSims validates supported action shapes and bounds before application. A validated response can still be unhelpful or incorrect. Review it, supervise simulated operation and keep the emergency-stop controls accessible. The connector does not authorize direct physical hardware operation.
API keys in the dedicated field are memory only in the application, but explicit cloud requests pass through this site's proxy to the chosen provider. See Privacy and the AI guide.
Availability and external references
Network access, browser capabilities, the hosting access gate, storage availability and third-party services can limit features. An installed PWA does not make live AI, authentication or every route available offline. External links are provided for reference; third-party content and services are governed by their operators.
No claim of fitness for every engineering purpose, uninterrupted access, a particular commercial outcome or jurisdiction-specific legal compliance is made. These terms do not identify a governing jurisdiction or invent a legal operator; any commercial rollout needs operator-specific terms and appropriate review.
Questions and updates
The date above identifies this version of the operating terms. Material changes to data handling or service features should be reflected in these pages. If the terms or model coverage do not meet your project's needs, retain exported copies and use a suitable engineering tool for the missing capability.
Prepare a question or report through Contact. Do not include secrets or private account credentials.
