A record of what has changed in the workbench and the website. These notes describe implemented features; the model coverage guide explains their engineering boundaries.
A themed home page, robot collection and dedicated pages for all 16 starter robots, with animated previews of actual preset geometry and distinct static illustrations.
Guides that stay close to the tool
Illustrated on-site documentation, walkthroughs, coverage explanations, frequently asked questions and project information pages.
An installable web experience
Web app manifest, app icons, install guidance, explicit update controls and an informational offline fallback. The simulator still needs a connection to load.
An account and contact foundation
Application account pages and server-backed account/contact records, separate from browser-local robot projects. Google sign-in requires the operator's provider credentials and setup.
Search and accessibility foundations
Page-specific metadata, canonical URLs, structured navigation and readable shared layouts. Search indexing follows the site's audience; the current private hosting gate remains in place.
Drag from either pin, snap to a nearby target, reconnect existing endpoints and review supported connection diagnostics.
Bring-your-own-key AI
Cloud provider adapters and local Ollama, model discovery/manual IDs, optional camera observations, bounded wheel/servo goals, action previews and trace replay.
More useful control experiments
Virtual API PID helpers with anti-windup and current-program experiments with configurable assertions, recorded metrics and trace export.
Current models remain generic and uncalibrated. Articulated dynamics, firmware emulation, complete analog circuits, SLAM and real voice remain future engineering work. Read the current coverage.
